Non ho resistito alla tentazione di scrivere una opinione su questa Amy Mac Donalds. TAnto chiacchierata in questi giorni su ciao.it per l'opinionsul prodotto della settimana. Ho sentito più volte il singolo proposto nelle radio che lo passano davvero spesso , ma mi ero convinta a non acquistare il cd proprio perchè pur amando il genere e la voce di questa cantante scozzese ho dato la precedenza ad altri acquisti.

Poi ho scelto di acquistare on line THIS IS THE LIFE , il tanto chiacchierato albume e me lo sono ascoltata in questi giorni, anche ora mentre scrivo le mie opinioni siu ciao.it è diventato la mia musica di sottofondo.

La giovane cantante è piuttosto conosciuta in Inghilterra eanche se ha bazzicato l'ambiente della musica già in precedenza è ora che ha cominciato a far davvero parlare di sè.

solo ascoltando questa canzone si capisce che la giovane cantautrice ha davvero del talento.
Thi is the life è il brano che la sta facendo conoscere un pò in tutta europa, è un brano che ha ritmo, che rtrascina, che non passa inosservato. Peccato che sia sbarcata solo ora qui da noi perchè all'estero è conosciuta da tempo. E questo brano risale a qualche anno fa!

A me ricorda molto Susan Vega ma non credo che lei abbia tratto ispirazione da lì!
In ogni caso l'album è molto bello e tutte le canzoni sono piacevoli al pari di This is the life!
A molti non piacciono i testi e il parere di altri è che comunque a parte un bel faccino e una bella voce il talento sia assente. Io credo inceve che talento ne abbia e il tempo ce lo dinostrerà, come primo album è molto frizzante e molto piacevole da ascoltare sia per la voce che per le sonorità. Mi sembra uan artista semplice e sincera e per questo mi piace. Tra i miei brani preferiti in questo album ci sono A Wish For Something More e Poison Prince. Ascoltateli!
